This is the guide that will teach you a important skill in Soccer. You may think it is for showing off, and maybe thats why your here. However juggling can help you with Soccer too. It helps your touch and if the ball is in the air you can get past defender. Heres a quick guide about juggling, but i want you to know that it takes years to learn how to juggle good, so practice up and don't give up.

Starting with your feet

At first throw the ball in the air and let it bounce once or twice then kick it up in the air again and let it bounce. Once you get the hang of it try to get 2 or more. Then up to 20. Once you get up to 20 do it with the other foot. Then when you have done that switch foots every time. Now lets try to get the bounce out of juggling! At first if it is easier just drop the ball from your hands and start juggling without a bounce. Much harder now isn't it. Make sure you use both feet. To make sure both feet are just as good use one foot only, and try to get twenty. Then do it with the other foot. Now that you got that down lets get into advanced tecniqe. While you are juggling with your feet make sure you are always on your toes. The ball should have some backspin making the ball come back to your foot slightly. Just keep trying and set your own records. Also, you can also try to juggle with the inside of your feet or the outside of your feet. Using these are vital to know if you need to save the ball. Now we are ready to move on to your knees, but first some quick feet tips.

Quick Feet Tips


When juggling with your feet remember to use BOTH FEET so both have a good touch.

When you kick the ball don't kick it to high or to far away from you.

When you kick it kind of hit it with the ends of your laces sort of so it spins back to you.

Make sure you are always on your toes and realazed.

Take preatty small touches with your feet. It will be easier then big ones.

Don't try to use only one foot as you will get tired and make it much harder.

Try other tricks like hitting it with the outside or inside of your foot.

Juggling with your Knees

Now that you have gotten feet down it is time to try to juggle with your knees. First let me say that though juggling with your knees may be a lot eaiser then juggling with your feet you can't just do knees cause you will get tired really quickly. Anyways, to start doing knees you need to know the right tecniqe. To juggle you don't actually hit it with your knees you hit it in the farther back. You need to fiqure out the right place. Not to far so it won't hit your chest but not to close or it will hit the ground. Once you have mastered that you can combine feet and knees. If you are about to lose it with your feet hit it up to your knees to gain control. If you get tired with your feet hit it up to your knees. Know that you have learned how to juggle with your feet and knees it is time to move on to some lifts before you work on the other parts of juggling but first some quick knee tips.

Quick Knee Tips


When you juggle rotate knees so you can get both knees good as well as it not being as tiring.

Getting your knees to get up and down is a big part so if your knees aren't going fast enough practice without a ball.

Use the part farther up than your knees to hit the ball. You need to find the sweet spot to juggle well.

For best results combine you knees and feet.

Use your knees to get the ball under contol. Then when you get tired let the ball drop to your feet.

Warning this may be easy, but it is very tiring.

Juggling Lifts


Juggling lifts are kinda important as they get the ball started and a well balenced start can lead to higher juggling scores. Here are some basic juggling lifts:

Pull-back lift- The most common lift where you pull the ball with your foot then lift it by kicking it up.

Rainbow lift- This lift is only recommended for advanced jugglers. Put one foot in front of the ball touching it and one to the side touching it. Then try to pop it up. If you are good at this[which i'm not] you should pop it up over your head and start juggling. You can also do it running is you want.

Pop-up lift- Put the ball between your legs then jump to pop it up then start juggling.

There are many other lifts that i can add, but 98 percent of people use the 1st one to start juggling because it is the easiest to most people. Please add more on the Soccerpedia page. Also you can come up with your own and if you do please post it.

Quick Lift Tips


If you can't lift it and start juggling keep practicing your lifts but to juggle just drop it from your hands.

Find the right lift for you.

Make sure you learn at least one lift because coach's don't like it if you use your hands.


Juggling with Your Head


Make sure you juggle on your foehead so you don't hurt your head. To do this look upward at the sky when you juggle. Not literary at the sky so you can see the ball. The only tips i can really give for juggling with your head is to practice. Make sure you don't do little headers on the ball actually head it. Also if you want to get a good juggling score it don't reccomend headers.

Juggling with a partner


Juggling with a partner is fun and a good way for both of you to get better. For good results make sure your touch to your patner is up in the air and not played at him. Here are some good games you can play with your partner to have fun as well as get better at juggling.

Soccer Tennis- This is a really fun game that is like tennis but with Soccer. To start you need a line or boundary in front of you. Then you need to decide how many touches you can get before you hit is over, how many bounces ect. Then start playing and get better at juggling.

Numbers- Play this by first starting at one. You have to hit the ball to your patner then he has to do 2. Then you have to do 3 and so on. See how high you can get. Also, another way to play would be that you call out a number to your partner and he has to do that much.

Juggling Fun



See if you can do some of these fun juggling things.

Magic Seven- To do this challenge first hit it with your feet right then left or the opposite way. Then right knee then left knee or the opposite way. Next your right shoulder then your left shoulder or the oppostte way. Finally your head. For a real challenge do it back down the opposite way. See how many times you can do this i will be intrested to know!

Magic 12- Ok if you can do this than you are the juggling king. Ok, first you hit the ball with your feet right then left or the opposite way. Then hit the ball with both feet in any order inside then outside. Then do two switching knees either way. Next, do two swiching shoulders either way. Then, head it and catch it on your neck. Please tell me if you can do this cause i can't. I just cant catch it on my neck.

Touch the Ground- To do this take a few touches then kick the bal in the air then touch your knee to the ground and countinue juggling. Try to do all of these knee,other knee,head, and chest.

Neck Push-ups- First, catch the ball on your neck then try to do push-ups.

Shirt off- First, catch the ball on your neck. Then slowley try to take your shirt off. If your a girl, please keep a bra on.

Try to juggle with other stuff like oranges pakkey sacks, and stuff.

Juggling Challenges


These are some chalenges that you can beat to prove your an amazing juggler. See if you can beat them all and please comment if you did!

Get 20 Juggles feet-only without it bouncing.

Get 20 juggles knee-only without it bouncing.

Get 5 juggles head-only without it bouncing.

Get 10 juggles head-only.

Get 50 juggles feet-only.

Get 70 juggles.

Do a Magic 7.

Get 100 juggles.

Get 200 juggles.

Get 500 juggles

Do a magic 12

Get 1000 juggles

Get 5000 juggles or more and be the juggle champion!!!!

This raps up juggling hope this helps though since juggling is manily practice it might not help as much as my other guides. Soom other time i will add some juggling moves.
