A sweeper is the last defender. Its name meaning the guy who sweeps the ball out of there.
Sweeper is a very important position on the Soccer field. They are the only thing that stands between a one on one with the goalkeeper. Think about it right now. There is a forward speeding towards you leading your fellow teammates behind. You hear the crowd screaming. It is up to you to stop him the team is counting on you. If this gets you nervous then you might not want to become a sweeper. Sweepers need to be calm. If they get to agresive they might do a dirty foul. They need to be expert defense[not finished yet]
