Manchester United beats Arsenal 2-1 in a thrilling comeback

Arsenal started the half very well and seemed to be dominating. However, Man U had chances of their own such as a breakaway by Rooney whose shot just hit off of the goalie's ankle. Arsenal's chances showed its weak spot,finishing, for this game. They had their chances but their shooting was just not good enough. Finally, Arsenal scored of of header. About 6 minutes later Manchester scored after a PK in the box due to a handball. Christiano Ronaldo sank it in the back of the net only to realize that his player had stepped in too early. [probably due to Ronaldo stopping before kicking it]. Ronaldo did sink it again the same side in the corner. However, if it had been a little of ether way it would have been blocked or missed. Next, it would be Man U to score again. They had a close free kick in the box, Ronaldo's specialty. However, Hargreaves would be the won to take it which he did perfectly in the corner of the net, miles away from the keeper. This goal was all it took to give Manchester United the win. Overall, Man U played great especially the subs. Ronaldo had a great performance. However, Rooney seemed to lack finishing ability. Arsenal has to finish better and defend better because it seemed like they had a lot of holes. The defenders didn't seem to feel certain about themselves which you cannot do to Man U. Manchester did not possise the ball enough though and most of their attacks were quick which is good but they might need to slow it down at some points.

David Beckham Coming to the US?

David Beckham is coming to the US at the end of his season at Real Madrid. He will be playing for the Los Angels Galaxy on a 250 million dollar contract. On his interview on ''Good Morning America" he said that he though playing in the US was going to be a real challenge[ not in exact words]. Lets see what he can do for US Soccer. I definitely think that he will make a difference fan wise, but on the field i don't think the US will see their money's worth. I think he is past his prime. According to him the move wasn't about the money, but bringing Soccer to America. I hope he means it. Anyways we will see what will happen. His first game of the season will be the English champions, Chelsea, on July 24. Post more on this story or start a new on now.

2007 MLS Season Kicks Off

The 12 MLS season will kick of April 7. This is going to be an interesting year with David Beckham coming.

David Beckham's First Game

On July 21 Beckham made his debut in the Los Angels Galaxy versus the Chelsea game. Because of Beckhams ankle injury he could not play till the last 10 to 15 minutes. However, the fans loved every minute of it. Every eye was on Beckham. Hopefully, this will be one of the turning points in Soccer for America that will be rememembered forever! The Galaxy lost 1-0, but i don't think most people went for that. I think they went for David Beckham. Though he is not the greatest player,i think that America needs a handsome celeberty who can stun them with free kicks and amazing shots to bring Soccer to America.
