Mental skills - The Complete Soccer Guide

Here you can access all the skills in the game that are about "thoughts".These are very important if you want to be a good soccer player.

Leadership

Be a captain on the team show encourgmentencouragement to your teammates, and if you think someones not giving it there all tell them to run just a little faster or shoot a little harder. DontDon't overdue it though, remember you have a coach.

Teamwork

Do not be selfish, pass the ball. Do what's right for your team. Such as play left midfield if your a rightie and you don't have a leftie on your team. If your left is pretty good, but your other wingers left is not good. Make sure that he practices his left though, so you can take turns with him eventually. Know your teamates, teammates, like if you know he is good at spinning around a person pass him the ball then break for a through ball pass. You should know your teamatesteammates so well that on one- on- one you should be right in guessing what move he would do 50 percent of the time. You should also no what side he's weak at, as with his other strenghthsstrengths and weaknesses. This will help you in a game a lot. Also make up some plays that are easy to see whats happening. Heres some examples:

One-Two- Use this to pass the ball around the defender. Pass the pall when your teammate is a few feet behind the defender. He/She should pass it back to you one touch while you are running ahead.

Undercut- While your teamateteammate is dribbling cut behind him and around him to the left[ works best by the sidelines as you can get in a quick cross] he then should pass the ball to you[ leading you].

Practice- Practice as hard as you possible can, as they say what you do in practice you will do in the games. Also practice at home a lot.

Be In The Right Position- I can't really explain this to you since it's to complicated. So ask your coach on where to be when it happens.

Make Quick Decisons-Decisions- try to make quick game-like experiences in practice. This will help you make them in the games.

All the other mental stuff, such as where to be and passing, will be covered in other guides. Thank you for reading and I will add more soon.
