The first thing every player needs to have is a the structure of the player which is fitness. Are you strong, fast,have enough endurance to survive 90 minutes plus even extra time? This is the first thing you need and without it you will never play pro especially in the MLS which is an especially physical league.

Next is your knowledge of the game. Do you have great vision and know where you are supposed to be all the time? Do you always know what to do on the pitch? You must have this to play Soccer professionally.

Third is your skill level. Can you blast shoots into the corner of the net or get past defender or defend with ease? You must have top notch skill to play pro.

Finally, is the most important thing and the reason that you are on this website. Desire and passion for soccer and the desire to get better. You need to want to get better. You have to want to play to the best of your abilities. Do you practice all the time at home or everywhere you go? Do you arrive to practice early[if you can] and are the last one to leave[if you can]. This is the most important thing. Practice as hard as you can and you will get better. Thats how everyone gets good, there is no magic skill that just decides if you play pro or not. To play pro you must love the game and practice at almost every opportunity.
