CommunicatingThis is a featured page

Here is the guide to an important skill in soccer, communicating. It is important for a team to communicate with each other. Communicating brings teams together!Soccer Players Here are come tips:

Make sure you make yourself known to your teammates at all time. Then they can look in the right area for you so they do not have to look around the pitch, then see unopen guys, then get shut down and lose the ball. If you are wide open scream for the ball. No one else should be calling for it but you. You say that this might draw attention to yourself but if your teammate knows that the urgency in your voice means pass the ball now then he will get it to you before defenders.

If you are covered, shut-up. Nothing is more annoying then while you are dribbling and someone screams like they in front of the goal and open and you quickly pass them the ball to realize that there is a defender right in front of him. A good tactic if you are covered [obviously try to get open while you are doing this] is if you see someone open tell the ball handler to pass it to him. Often if someone is yelling for the ball it is natural to look that way and pass. However, many block it out since so many call for the ball. However, if two or more players are telling him to pass it to someone than the person will probably pass it to him.

Make sure to always be saying stuff if need be on the field. Don't be quiet. Even if it is just saying "come on guys lets get it back after a goal. Sometimes it is even necessary [at an older level] to get in someone's face if they continuously doing something wrong despite the team telling him he is. However, must of the time let the coach handle it and even tell the coach. Your just helping the team. If he gets mad about it and stays mad about it than thats his problem. Teams need to help each other get better. Note: do not get in someones face if he misses a shot or something like that. If the player is trying than thats okay. The time when you do that is if someone is being lazy or stubborn such as someone being a ball hog over and over despite the team telling him to pass or a midfielder not getting back on defense despite the team's effort to tell him.

Communicating Words

Man-on- when someone has a defender rushing in make sure to say this loud.

Turn- When someone has open space to turn then make sure they no they do.

No Turn- When someone doesn't have space to turn tell them. You can also use man-on in this situation.

Watch him- When someone is open make sure to point that out to everyone. Especially when he is running in.

Well thats the guide to communicating. I will make sure to add more tips soon.
